Welcome to The Properteam Property Group Rentals.

We the agents are always there to help where we can. We hope you have a wonderful stay in your new home for the duration of the lease.

To become a tenant we need:- On signing of the lease agreement – a deposit equal to one month’s rent An administration fee of R800 A deposit for water and electricity if necessary. This will vary from property to property.

Before occupation the full month’s rent must be paid at least 3 days before occupation to enable the funds to be cleared by the bank before occupation. Please contact us for our banking details.

An ‘ingoing’ inspection will be done of the premises on an agreed date before occupation.

An ‘outgoing’ inspection will be done on the last day of the month when vacating the property.

The deposit will be refunded by the Landlord to yourself within 30 days after termination of the lease, providing all was left as you found it when you took occupation. See Clause 6.3 to 6.3.2 in the agreement of lease.

The deposit for electricity and water etc. will be reimbursed only after the Landlord has received the final account.

You will be required to pay your monthly rental to the Landlord by the 1st of each month by means of EFT, Stop Order, or Cash. If you pay with cash a fee will be charged.

Should you pay late you will be levied 10% of the amount owing as a penalty for late payment (however we know you will not be paying late).
